It’s my absolute pleasure to be connecting with the fabulous Tina Tower today as we talk about embracing technology to build a powerful business.
At the helm of Her Empire Builder, Tina is a business strategist for digital entrepreneurs, best selling author and podcast host. Her powerful mission is to have 100 women making $1 million a year in her Mastermind, Her Empire Builder, by 2025.
Starting her first business at the age of 20, Tina has since built and sold 4 businesses. Although she reached a high level of success, the hustling and hard work that got her there led to burn out and adrenal fatigue.
On a gap year travelling the world with her family, Tina discovered the simplicity and reach of online business and completely fell in love. She packaged her knowledge and expertise into an online course and grew to a 7 figure business in just under 2 years.
Tina’s first book, One Life – How To Have The Life of Your Dreams was released in 2018. Her second book, Million Dollar Micro Business was released in 2021 and became a global success, hitting the best seller list in its first week of release and holding the spot.
Tina has won awards such as Telstra National Young Business Woman of the Year and Australian Business Champion. She has been featured on the Today Show, in the Financial Review, on Sky Business and listed as a ‘Business Woman to Watch’ by Huffington Post.

3 powerful steps to take to market an online course
[9:55]: #1: The best low hanging fruit to market an online course is podcasting. 62% of Tina’s high level membership found her on her podcast. Be a guest on other shows and start your own as soon as you’re ready.
[10:55]: #2: Video. Instagram stories keeps you top of mind and enables you to build real relationships with people.
[11:45]: #3: You need a way to convert. It’s quality over quantity but you need to be able to funnel people into a sales funnel. Email list will always convert more highly than Instagram.
[12:45]: Tina has always built her business on being accessible but when there is a barrage of messages and contact, you need to have boundaries. Tina has Facebook groups for each of her groups but she is only in her high level mastermind.
[14:00]: Tina decided she would share everything for free but if people want her personal energy, they have to pay for that. She saves up questions and answers them all on Facebook lives.
[15:20]: You have to learn to value yourself and also give back to the community. It also takes a bit of letting go to enable other people to step up.
[17:35]: The most successful business Tina helped build is Mel Brown’s My Financial Adulting Plan. She had an amazing personal brand and program but wasn’t marketing it.
[18:35]: Tina’s next powerful step is to continue with Her Empire Builder and continuing to serve there instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.
