In this episode of the Powerful Stories podcast, I talk with Nicole Kalil, direct from the US. Nicole is a former C-suite executive, who decided to step away from her role at a Fortune 500 company to focus on her true calling – building women’s confidence.
Now a keynote speaker, host of the ‘This Is Woman’s Work’ podcast and author (her first book, Validation is for Parking, is out now, she is a wealth of wisdom and inspiration.
We have a beautiful conversation around having the confidence to step out of what does not feel right for our truth, our intent and our purpose to move into what is right for our destiny.
As well as talking career U-turns, we discuss what true confidence really looks like, how to reframe our failures in order to deepen our trust within ourself, and the power of women who support each other.
We also talk about how showing up online from a place of authenticity and genuine purpose is received with so much more support and connection; as well as what the ‘false equation’ is and how to leave this behind in order to build your confidence from the inside out. Powerfully, Nicole says that it’s not about becoming confident, but about connecting to your confidence.
Personally for me, the women my life lift each other up – their success story is my success story, and Nicole absolutely shares this outlook, so it was a pure delight to connect with her.
I believe that all women deserve to step up and into their power, and they can only do that when they have confidence – so this one is a must-listen.
Much love,
Tory xo
